What in the SMB2 backwards warps is going on here?! We did in fact go backwards but no worries, the exit in this stage will put us back on track.

This room consists of a lonely chest worth a whopping 300,000 points.

The exit is not to hard to find on your own but to save you some time just kneel on the treasure chest and toss a bomb to the left.

Throw a second one from the same spot to open.

Back on track to the 96TH zone.

Your main focus in this zone is the hallway full of randomly placed mummies and lil scorpions. The mummies are really good at slowing you down and causing time outs. Just toss bombs their way to clear them out. A good tip to know is that as soon as the enemies begin to flash on death you can safely pass through them.

Beware the edge mummies, they will continuously fire in your direction until they fully despawn when defeated. Proceed with caution!
